Nursing School Class of 1932 Informal Composite

Comments

In 1939, Georgia Bates moved to Dallas, Texas, to work for the Visiting Nurses Association, to help the poor in West Dallas.  Conditions were primitive and the need was great.  Her salary was funded by Highland Park Methodist Church, where she reported her efforts through her ministry.  She retired in 1973.  She had a great positive impact not only in the community but also in the Church which supported her.
